Lusaka mayoral engagement is a powerful turning point for city’s formal nature strategy
The Lusaka engagement culminated with the Lusaka City Council formally announcing their commitment to signing the C40 Urban Nature Accelerator. The commitment bridges the gap between community-led initiatives, like the Tuwe Pamoja project, and formal municipal policy.
CLARE is a flagship research programme on climate adaptation and resilience, funded mostly (about 90%) by UK Aid through the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) & co-funded by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), Canada.
